What is the difference between Clothing Labels for care tags and tagless clothing?

Our press-and-stick, laminated labels “For Clothing Care Tags” should only be applied to a tag with the size and/or care information. As these labels are a bit thicker they need a strong surface to help them lay flat during wash cycles.

The thinner, unlaminated style “For Tagless Clothing” should be applied to the brand imprint (silkscreen care or size information that is stamped in place of the traditional care tag). Applying this label type to the text printed on clothing gives it a stronger bond than if applied directly on the fabric.

Neither style should be applied directly to clothing.
